The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG – processing for the purpose of deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship. In the event of a rejection, your application documents will be deleted no later than six months after the conclusion of the process, unless you have consented to longer storage for future job opportunities.
