Langdock policy finding
“Certain AI Models, which must be actively selected by Langdock customers, are only made available by Microsoft as a “global” deployment. For these AI Models, the processing of prompts and responses for inference may take place worldwide, including outside the EU. In such cases, the data protection provisions of the GDPR for data transfers to third countries apply. In addition, Microsoft is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework to ensure a level of protection for personal data equivalent to that within the EU and, as a fallback, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply. Even when using “global” models, Customer Data at rest (data-at-rest) is stored exclusively in Langdock’s selected data centers within the EU.”
