Chegg CheggMate policy finding
“ Through the Services, you may purchase, as a separate product, a digital access code (DAC) to certain Digital Content. The DAC publishers allow only one user (one activation) of these codes. Chegg’s third-party partner will ship your ordered DAC to you in sealed packaging. If the DAC packaging is opened, Chegg must assume that the code is activated and therefore cannot be resold. Thus, you may not return a DAC with opened packaging for a refund.”
