How long does Forethought AI keep your data?

Establishes Forethought's obligation to retain personal information only as long as necessary for collection purposes or essential legal/compliance purposes (legal obligations, dispute resolution, agreement enforcement), and describes the criteria used to determine appropriate retention periods including sensitivity, risk of harm, and applicable legal requirements.

Their words · Privacy Policy

Forethought will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purposes it was collected, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Because these needs can vary for different data types in the context of different services, actual retention periods can vary significantly. We determine the appropriate retention period for personal information based on the amount, nature and sensitivity of your personal information processed, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information and whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means, as well as applicable legal requirements (such as applicable statutes of limitation). After expiry of the applicable retention periods, your personal information will be deleted. If there is any data that we are unable, for technical reasons, to delete entirely from our systems, we will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further use of that personal information. For further information on applicable data retention periods, please contact us (see “How to Contact Us” below).
