Users may use Service Output for internal business purposes on a royalty-free basis, but use of the Service and its Output does not transfer any Intellectual Property Rights in the Output to the user. The Forecasting Company retains the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to limit a user's use of Output or require cessation and deletion of copies at any time, if it believes such use may infringe third-party rights. Users are explicitly prohibited from representing Output as human-generated or using Output to train their own machine learning models. The Service may generate identical or similar Output for multiple users.
TRAINING
Users are explicitly prohibited from using any Service content — including captions, keywords, or metadata — for machine learning or AI training purposes. However, the broad User Content license granted to The Forecasting Company expressly includes use for 'improving our products and the Service' and 'developing new products or features,' which encompasses potential model training on submitted User Content. An opt-out mechanism is available: if a user opts out, The Forecasting Company will not use that user's User Content after opt-out to train its machine-learning models or improve the Service. Pre-opt-out use is not addressed.
COMMERCIAL
Users are prohibited from using the Service for commercial solicitation purposes and from copying, reselling, sublicensing, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative works of the Service or The Forecasting Company's Intellectual Property, including via automated scraping.
